Paolo is a pioneer of social Internet technologies, sorta. Having maintained various personal blogs since 2002, he's been called “God's Gift to Blogging” by at least two people.
He lives in Tacoma, Wash., with his wife Amanda and works in Bellevue, Wash., where he is the Social Media Specialist at Eddie Bauer where he strategizes and executes social media strategies and manages Eddie Bauer Facebook and Twitter pages, First Ascent Facebook and Twitter pages and the First Ascent Born Out There blog. Previously he was a Senior Account Executive at Weber Shandwick, the world's largest PR agency, where he worked on Samsung, U.S. Army, General Motors and Microsoft accounts. Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, he was an editor for PRWeb, Inc., an online newswire.
Paolo graduated from Western Washington University with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and public relations. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in communications and digital media (MCDM) at the University of Washington. In his spare time he likes photography, directing poorly-produced home videos, drinking wine, contributing to or combating love handles, playing and composing music and perusing online.
